Workforce
Education and Workforce Development
We believe in equipping the communities where we operate with the jobs of the future. In and around Millersport, we support education and workforce development efforts that help students and residents build practical skills, explore career options and prepare for meaningful opportunities close to home. This includes supporting Walnut Township Local School District, partnering with local technical schools to expand access to skilled trades and technical education, and supporting Center of Science and Industry (COSI) career fair events in Fairfield County to connect learning with real-world careers.

At Vantage, we strive to be genuine partners in the communities we call home. In Millersport, that means investing in initiatives that matter to local residents and working alongside community members to reflect local priorities. We engage regularly, listen closely and work alongside community members to help shape programs that respond to local needs.
Hyperlocal
Community Efforts
Our hyperlocal efforts are grounded in understanding every community is different. In Millersport, we take a community-informed approach that prioritizes listening and supporting locally rooted cultural events and organizations. In 2025, we sponsored the Sweet Corn Festival, providing vouchers for visitors to use at nonprofit booths, and we look forward to supporting the festival again this year. We also supported the United Way of Fairfield County, which works with 24 nonprofit agencies and helps expand access to books for children. Through these community-driven investments, we focus on initiatives shaped by local needs and priorities.
Workforce Development: Creating Pathways to Success
We’re partnering with local institutions to build a skilled workforce for tomorrow:
This development will create more than 2,500 skilled construction jobs. Once complete, we will employ more than 50 employees to both operate the site and as part of our agreement with the community.
The OH2 campus is expected to generate millions of dollars in tax revenue and payments in lieu of taxes (PILOTs) annually to support the Village, Walnut Township Local School District and the surrounding community.
